It’s official! Most women fake orgasms

Researchers have delved deep into the bedrooms of US couples in a massive study to find out what turns them on. The survey of 5,865 people was meant to reveal how men and women viewed sex — and how Americans have sexually evolved since the groundbreaking work of researcher Alfred Kinsey more than 60 years ago, the New York Post reported.

In the latest study, the researchers from Indiana University found 85 percent of men said their female partners reached orgasm the last time they had sex — while only 64 percent of women said the same. “We certainly know some women do fake it,” Debra Lynne Herbenick, a research scientist at the university’s School of Public Health, said. “This shows this is one area that the sexes can do a better job of — communicating,” she said. The rise of oral sex could be the single biggest change in American sexuality over the past 60 years. The survey showed 91 percent of men said they had received oral sex from a woman, compared with 30 percent in Kinsey’s study.

In Kinsey’s day, 25 percent of women had received oral sex from a man, while 88 percent have now experienced it. “What really changed was the sexual revolution and the dawn of the HIV epidemic,” Herbenick said. “Americans expanded their sexual repertoire and found that there are many, many ways to be sexual, safely, with others,” she added. The findings will be highlighted Sunday on the Discovery Channel’s ‘Sex in America,’ part of the network’s documentary series “Curiosity.”

Even men fake orgasms

London: When it comes to faking orgasms, women are very good at it, but a new study and a new book have both revealed that an increasing number of men fake it too.

The study, by online pharmacy ukmedix, found 74 percent of women in the UK are faking and 22 percent of men, the Sun reported.

But it appears the reasons why men and women fake are vastly different.

Most women do so to get the lovemaking over and done with.

They used to lie back and think of England, while men think of Kelly Brook.

But it appears men fake climax because they are embarrassed their technique comes up short, and want to make women feel better.

For new book 'Why Men Fake It: The Totally Unexpected Truth', Dr Abraham Morgentaler spent 25 years researching the male orgasm.

He said, "The big surprise to me when I started doing this work was that, once a man is in a relationship, he seems to care more about his partner than himself."

Most men know women fake it. Like childbirth for women, it is the pain we have to bear.

But it will no doubt come as a big shock to women to learn their fellas are at it too.
